In memoriam Philippe Fémel

The House of Chanoine Frères expresses its extreme sadness at the loss of its Managing Director, Philippe Fémel, on 5 September 2019 in Reims, a victim of road violence.

A Norman by birth, Philippe Fémel joined the House of Chanoine Frères in 1998. Largely self-taught, he rapidly became Director of Production, then Managing Director under CEO Philippe Baijot. At age 66, Philippe Fémel had decided to continue in his functions for a few more years under the new CEO, Franck Coste.

A superb professional, passionate about his work, close to his teams, Philippe Fémel worked for more than twenty years to develop and increase the renown of Chanoine Frères with talent and tenacity.

The House of Chanoine Frères and all its employees, greatly stricken by Philippe’s passing, extend their sympathy to his family and friends, pay him tribute, and will long remember a man of character and profound humanity, a man of conviction appreciated by everyone.
